Education System In Germany

Germany has state-run universities and colleges, private universities and cooperative universities as well as other schools offering a wide range of courses through full-time and part-time participation. To obtain a Bachelor’s degree you must have 12+01 year of education. The duration of your course may be a minimum of 3 years. A one or two year study program equals 120 ECTS points. A student must have a bachelor’s degree to apply for a master’s program. A master’s degree is equivalent to a German ‘Diploma’ or ‘Magister’ degree. You can apply for a Ph.D. after completing your master’s program. German universities majorly focus on research which is another factor that adds to their reputation.
